Hi, I’m Caitlin Brunell, thanks for stopping by my website. You know, when I created my charity, Caitlin’s Closet, I made a lifelong commitment to help other teens. I wanted to make sure that every girl in high school, regardless of her economic status, would have the opportunity to attend her prom, homecoming dance, academic awards or sports banquet. And while I know that what everyone sees is the dress, this is about SO much more than the dress. Caitlin’s Closet gives teens the chance to gain confidence, create lifetime memories, practice social skills and fully participate in school events. Miss America's Outstanding Teen Announces Today that Caitlin's Closet Received Celebrity Dresses

a donation to her charity
Orlando, FL - Caitlin Brunell, Miss America's Outstanding Teen 2008 and founder of Caitlin's Closet, received over 50 dresses donated by Kathy, Paris and Nicky Hilton at her farewell luncheon. The event was sponsored by La Casa Hermosa and took place at the Rosen Center Hotel on Friday, August 15th.
Since 2006, Caitlin's Closet has received over 6,000 dresses from across the nation. What's even more amazing is that since she was crowned in August 2007, over 5,000 have been collected and donated. Over 10 different states have been involved with helping Caitlin accomplish her goal of providing dresses to girls who might not otherwise have the opportunity to have the proper attire for a special occasion.

Our Mission
Through the organization Caitlin established in 2006, young women have the opportunity to outfit themselves in donated formalwear for their prom, homecoming dance, academic awards or sports banquet.
Caitlin Brunell is a fifteen year old young woman whose most recent- and most exciting – accomplishment was capturing the title of the “Miss America’s Outstanding Teen 2008” in the national competition held recently in Orlando, Florida.
